How to remove a macro in the new editor

I applied a macro to a page (converted from legacy to new editor) that isn't working, I'd like to remove it altogether, but it doesn't appear that that's a possibility.

A trash icon should appear when clicking on the macro:

Does this icon appear? Do you get any error message?
