We've changed which Slack channel users should go to, to get a certain type of help. I'd like to search our Confluence for references to the old channel to make sure they're updated to the new channel.
Ideally I would search for "#channel", but that returns results as if I searched "channel". The channel name is a frequently used word, not as bad as #help but that gives you the right idea.
Are there perhaps any apps for Cloud that would help out here?
@Majken Longlade have you tried searching using " " around the #channel_name like this "channel_name".
We have dozens of Slack channels that start #proj in our company. When I search #proj in Confluence I get 100's of matches, but when I search "#proj" it only brings up the few pages with Slack channels starting #proj on them.
Yes, but proj isn't a word that would be used on pages unless referencing the Slack channel, so searching "proj" is still useful.
There's been some recent activity in the relevant JAC issue, so maybe this will be fixed soon.
