How to set a space's category by REST API?

I am creating a lot of spaces by REST API and I would like to assign them a category, too. However I couldn't find the parameter to do so.

I haven't worked with the Confluence API much, I mainly use the Jira API.

Looking at the Confluence API documentation seems to suggest that you can't do it on creating a space, but would be able to by updating a space property.
