How to set up confluence behind our corporate firewall

We have our company website: company.com

To get in you must have an active user id, nothing unusual so far.

Then we our confluence site which we have opened to only 1 department in the company to add documents and update.

1. We would like to open confluence to view only certain pages (like a F.A.Q.) to our entire company without having to provide them customer licenses.

2. After 1 is completed we would then like to open to people outside of our organization who have valid user ids.

Is this possible?

If so how can we do it? Any documentation or some place I can get pointed to?

Using Scroll Viewport (app, see https://www.k15t.com/products/scroll-apps-for-confluence ) would be an option. It creates a static hosted site from one or more spaces and comes with the ability to hide content behind a login.
