How to share a KB article in two spaces

Hello,

I am setting up a couple of Knowledge Base spaces - one for or internal sales staff and one that will be accessible to our customers. Many of the articles will be applicable to both spaces, but the sales staff will have access to some articles that are for internal use only. Is there a way to share certain articles with two spaces?

To start with, you'll need to create groups for both users. 

On the pages that you need to restrict, click EDIT....then click on UNRESTRICTED (as shown on image one). A new screen will appear.

For the group that you don't want to see certain pages, add that group to Viewing and editing restrict option as shown on image two.

Hey,

In addition to what Mumo Systems said in regards to security, the same article can be shared from one space to the other via Include Page Macro. 

So in this scenario:

1. Create Internal Sales and External spaces
2. Populate your Sales Space with KB articles
3. Populate Public space with pages using Include Page Macro pointing to original KB articles on Sales pages

Benefits:

• Only certain select KB articles will be shown on Public space,
• Any changes made to the original article on Sales space will be reflected on Public space page.
• If a certain article needs to be pulled, deleting or restricting Public Page will not affect original Sales KB article
