I want to create a blog post in my private space and give permission to a group of users so that they can see and comment on it.
Of course, I don't want anyone other than me to see the other content in my private space.
Is there a way to achieve this effect? What permission settings should I set for my private space, and what restrictions for a blog entry?
I would prefer doing that the other way round. Make your private space available for everyone that should be able to see your blog post and move your private stuff into a sub-section of your personal space and restrict the access to this sub-section so only you can see it.
I had a similar problem with creating pages in private space and sharing them with other users. In the end, I decided to create additional space and post public content.
