Dear Experts
My team is creating a confluence page to gather the information from the 20 people during the year. In other words, 20 people put or update the information at any time when he/she needs it. However, as I am a manager, I can't track which part has been changed in the column or row in excel.
When someone updates the MACRO excel and system send me the notification. However, it doesn't show which part is updated. When I just click on the link incuded in the email notifiaction, it just bring me to the confluence page (whole page) .
Would you coach me how I can detect the changed part in the MACRO EXCEL? I already check the "page history" but in case of MACRO Excel, it doesn't show changed part specically.
HI @Lee
If you are looking for a full spreadsheet functionality with version history, you can have a look at our app Excellentable which allows you to create and maintain full spreadsheet including version history within confluence.
Hi,
If you don't have complex formula in your Excel file, why using an Excel file? You can just use a classic table on a Confluence page, so every time someone do changes, you will be able to see the changes and differences using page history feature in Confluence.
If you have complex things in your Excel file then an app can be used to be able to build complex tables in Confluence: Table Filter and Charts for Confluence
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/27447/table-filter-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
This app is one of most famous app for table filters and formulas directly in a Confluence page ;)
I hope this helps a bit.
Cheers,
Dam.
