How to use a Jira Issue Filter result as chart value

Ralf Klinkert July 8, 2019

Hi all,

I created a simple chart which shows the number of tickets per month. Currently, I insert all the values manually. Is it possible to use the result of a Jira Issue Filter (Total Issue Count) in the number column?

The goal I want to reach is that there is no need to insert the values manually cause they are taken from the Jira Issue Filter.

Best

Ralf

Hi @Ralf Klinkert

Yes, you can insert the Total issue count in a table column. I see you are already using the  Jira issue macro for the job. In the editor window, look for Display options. Select the Total issue count radio button and click Insert. This should insert the count of issues into your table wherever you may require.

The same is explained in the linked article as well.

Hope this works!

Thanks

Sireesha
