How to write multiple lines for macro parameter input field?

Hi all, I am trying to modify the open source Mermaid plugin for Confluence Server. I want to add the diagram code as a parameter of the macro plugin. However, because of the parameter input field, the code is not being read properly (i.e. new lines). Is there a way to write more than 1 line in the parameter input field?
