After registering the Server ID, I accidentally deleted the confluence home directory because it failed during installation.

How can I check the server ID?

Hello,

Why would you need the server id?

Like @Alexey Matveev said you should not need the server ID. Do a new install instead.

If you really must have your old server id then consider the steps:

  1. setup new database
  2. complete confluence installation to create home directory and setup the database configuration(recommend using a similar database here)
  3. once initial configuration is completed, stop confluence
  4. take backup of the old database
  5. Delete the database from step 1
  6. create a new database with same name as step1
  7. restore backup from old database to new database.
  8. startup confluence.

The above makes sure confluence has the old server id again similar to when setting up a test instance.
