This issue happened the whole day on July 14th and for hald day on the morning of July 13th.
Hi Thach, when I look on Atlassian's jira site (jira.atlassian.com) I have seen several performance issues when pages get long and contain a lot of data. You don't mention it, but is this a possibility for your page you're trying to edit? Did it happen with every page, or just one? If it's the same page, does it happen using different browsers, or with different users?
Is it still an issue today? If so, after you've looked at all those things, you could try to open a ticket with support (support.atlassian.com) and they might have some suggestions or if it would require some deeper technical investigation.
Hope that helps.
Hi Dan,
This is an intermittent issue which happened on several different pages, including from short 1-page to several pages long. These are pages that I have been regularly updating for months without any issue. Please note that I am using Chrome and have not tried to switch browser.
Below is the historical log of the issues:
- on July 13th, it happened the whole morning and cleared away in the afternoon,
- on July 14th, it happened the whole day
- on July 17th, it happened for 5-10 minutes in the morning....
On some occasions where the page managed to display the bottom line with 'Publish' then continue to spin the Wait, I clicked on Publish, and Confluence finally display the page for Edit mode, however with an error message on storage /server issue (I will capture and post the exact message next time). Editing worked as expected afterwards.
I have already opened a ticket with Atlassian support. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your help,
Thach
