I created a personal space, but when I click on my name from a profile macro, it navigates to the profile instead of my personal space.

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: User is Redirected to User Profile Instead of Personal Space

I created a personal space, but when I click on my name from a profile macro, it navigates to the profile instead of my personal space.

I definitely have view permission on my own space, so why am I not being directed to my personal space instead of user profile page?
