I do not want to notify @user when mentioning them on page. Is this possible?

I am creating a draft for a template and need to list the members on the project. My thought is to tag them appropriately with the @User feature but do not want a notification to go out to each member when I save the page. Is this possible or will each mentioned user receive a notif?

Hi @Barnett Williams  - 

If you are only creating a template with @ mentions, no notification will go out. 

If you are saving a page that was created using a template having @ mentions, email notifications will go out. To avoid notifications going out, you can disable the Confluence Mentions plugin from Cog wheel --> Add-ons --> Manage add-ons --> search for Mentions plugin with System selected on the drop-down menu. You'll find a greyed Disable button if your plugin is already enabled.
