I'm getting "Confluence will not start up because the build number in the home directory doesn't match the build number in the database" after upgrading

Any idea how I can resolve this?

Difficult to say, without knowing what you've done ot push the system into that state (not deliberately of course, but what process have you done to do the upgrade?)
