Is there any setting in Confluence to get email notification if anyone choose me as a content approver? I do not get such email notifications now....

I think you can set this up with the Confluence app for Slack.

This function is not built into Confluence.  There are a couple of  addons on the marketplace (e.g. Document Control for Confluence Cloud ) which offer this functionality.

We built this addon for this usecase, and there are also some other addons with their pros and cons available.
