I am requesting a copy of my data & all content created by my account. I had submitted a formal request, however the request was cancelled and I was told to create a ticket here.
To better understand, do you have your own confluence cloud instance?
Do you want a backup of that instance?
Do you have access to the instance? You can do a space export or site backup.

Is that what you are looking for?

Hi Aaron. My understanding is that my Confluence account was deactivated earlier this year and my current confluence that is currently active under the same account does not have my old data on it anymore. I am looking to retrieve my old data. Is this possible? Or is the data gone.

Hi!
If it were a free plan, then no.
Confluence sites on the Free plan will be deactivated after 120 days of inactivity. To prevent your site being deactivated, just log in and view any Confluence page—that’ll count as activity and reset the 120-day clock.
The length of your app’s data retention period will depend on the plan and billing system. At the end of this data retention period, your app’s data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you want immediate deletion of your data, you can submit a request.
regards
