If I delete a globale template, will Confluence pages using that template be deleted too?

Hi! I created a global template that is now depreciated, and I've created a replacement template that I want people to use going forward. Any space using the old template page I would like it to be unaffected by the deletion of the template. What is the behaviour I should expect? And can I do what I want — delete the old template without pages using that template be unaffected.

@Katrina McGuire If you delete a template it will not impact the pages that were created using that template. Once a page is published it is as if the page was designed without a template and deleting the template it was based off of will not affect the page that has been created.

The template is only used on the initial creation of a page.  If you delete or disable a template it has no impact on any of the pages that were created using that template.
