hi,
I have a question about the data center for Confluence Cloud. We are Australian company, HQ is in Australia, all stuffs are in Australia. Now, if we start to use Confluence Cloud, will Atlassian guarantee our data is in Australia data centre all the time ?
From this page:
https://www.atlassian.com/trust/reliability/infrastructure
It mentioned that:
Atlassian will optimize where customer data is located based on how it is accessed around the world. As an example, if the majority of the users access Jira or Confluence cloud instances from Europe, then their data will be migrated to Europe.
But it does not explicitly saying that Atlassian guarantees data in one place. Any information will help, thanks.
Hi Jeff,
We do use AWS to also host certain scripts and your attachments, so it is not guaranteed that 100% of your instance will be running via a specific data center location.
I would recommend that you reach out to Cloud support for them to take a look at your instance's situation. There, you can provide your instance URL and they can better answer about where your data is hosted.
Regards,
Shannon
