Images missing inside inserted PDF in Confluence

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
A couple images inside an inserted PDF in Confluence fail to render in the preview mode.
However, in using the PDF macro all the images render perfectly well.
Trying to understand why the pdf that's inserted as a file fails to render said images.
Including some attachments (had to white out most of it but in the PDF macro an image can be clearly see while in the uploaded pdf an image has not rendered)
Has anyone else come across this?
