java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -3

File size is 1036kb, tried both .docx and doc, without success.

Hi @alex,

it seems like this is a bug in Confluence with no known workarounds: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-51645. 

I would suggest adding a comment to the issue above to state your impact on users and workflow while adding the Confluence version you are using.

If you are experiencing this behavior with a handful of Word files, the best approach would be to copy and paste the content into a newly created page to format it manually.
