Import from Word Document with content * or \\

On import of  Word documents, in texts including asterisks like "aaa*bbb*ccc", the asterisks are stripped off and the text inside is set to bold.

Haow can I switch off that?

I want to keep the asterisks in the text.

Same with \\ like in path names. \\ is stripped off and replaced by a <br>.

Can anybody help me?

Hi @Thomas Schmidt welcome to the confluence community forum and I wish you are staying safe and healthy.

Option 1: Please try disabling "Autoformatting" in your user profile and check. If issue still persist, then connector might not be interpreting correctly.
