In Confluence, is there a way for anonymous users to watch a page?

Part of our instance is made available to our anonymous customers. Many of them would like to be notified automatically when a page is updated. Is there a way to configure a space to allow anonymous users to do that?

Thanks for any help offered.

Hi there,

Unfortunately it is not possible for Confluence to do that. Confluence need to know which e-mail address it need to send notification too, since anonymous users is not registered in Confluence, then it is not possible for them to get notified.

Hope it clarifies.

Has really no one come up with a plugin for this by now? Missing this feature could actually be a dealbreaker :(

I agree. Confluence licences are expensive, and not everyone needs to interasct with the system over and beyond seeing what is happening.
