Hi! I'm using include page macro and the layout is off and doesn't mirror the original page.
(ORIGINAL PAGE)
(INCLUDE PAGE)
looks like there is a public bug ticket here that is over 2 years old: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67960
This issue really goes against Atlassian's own content reuse strategy. Why hasn't it been fixed???
I have also been seeing this. Basically, since using the new editor anytime I use the include page macro to display content on a page in another space, the macro appears to revert some of the content to display as it did in the old editor. It gets particularly wonky depending on other elements used in the page, like layout options and tables.
I've uploaded 2 screenshots - one shows the page with the new editor layout, the other shows a page that uses the include page macro to display the contents of the first page.
Mostly it's just a not great experience to the person using the page that has the macro, but we want to leverage the macro to single-source content as much as possible. I've tested this both with pages that have been converted from old to new editor and with pages that were created using the new editor and the result is the same.
Is this a known bug with the new editor and the include page macro?

@Sandrah Kim maybe check to see if you've applied any formatting to the line where the Include Macro is placed on the page, like it being set to H1 or something.
I also just learned about this issue, where extra formatting is being added when viewing page inclusions in the new Confluence editor. This could also be what you're seeing.

Thanks @Matt Reiner _K15t_
I checked and removed H1 settings but it's displaying the page with incorrect format still. I believe this is a bug as the mirrored page seems to be using old format.

Thanks for the reply, @Matt Reiner _K15t_
I did check to see if there was any formatting on the affected pages and there is not - no headings, layout, etc.
I wonder if it is related to the issue you linked to. My issue doesn't exactly match what the reporter originally stated - my issue is consistent whether or not there is any other content on the page that uses the Include Macro.
Should I post a comment on that issue to provide some additional context/evidence?

Hmm, I would add a comment, since the team will most likely be in the best position to fix multiple issues with the include macro within the same issue.
