Inconsistent behavior of the sidebar expand button

Expand button for the sidebar behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes the sidebar expands on mouse hover of the icon, other times it requires a click. This is a source of misoperation and annoying.

It's over a year later, and this issue still exists. It's a daily bane on my existence. At least 3 times a day, I go to click the little expand button, it moves out from my under my mouse, and I click the newly-revealed Space Overview banner instead. Drives me absolutely nutty.

Hi Ryota, I can replicate that behavior too.  It seems to happen more on the expand where hovering performs the function.

I would suggest opening a ticket with support at support.atlassian.com (then click 'Contact') and have support take a look at it.  I didn't see an existing issue when I took a quick glance at Atlassian's jira site, but I may have missed something.

I would recommend adding several screenshots or even a video of the behavior.
