Information exchange between Confluence and other systems

Erin King August 27, 2021

We are currently using a number of other systems that do not talk to one another. Is it possible to be able to use Confluence to only add data in ONE place and have that populated in multiple applications?

For instance, we use Zendesk, Jira, and Salesforce - however, when we make a customer inactive in Salesforce, it does not deactivate their Zendesk account. Does Confluence provide the interfaces necessary to link these together?

Hi @Erin King,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Confluence is a collaboration tool around documentation, what you are looking for is not something that Confluence can do for you. Based on your description you are looking for an Identity manager, something like Okta, that would allow you to managed your users from there and then sync it to Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.

Thank you so much for your prompt response! I appreciate the insight.
