Inline comments are not working in confluence

Hi All,

We have confluence page where we are not able to add inline comments we are getting error. we have content in table format please find below screenshot for more details:

while checking on it we have found below bug tickets related to this issue.

We have confluence 8.5.7v but in this bugs our version is not mentioned any one have idea whether its fixed or not?

We had that occasionally too. The given hint is usually wrong that the highlighted text would contain macros etc. But most of the time it worked (so far concerning reliability).

But recently (we had a 'security' update last week) I notived that it is impossible to add an inline comment if the text is inside another macro, e.g. a panel macro.

I am not sure about the Confluence version, we use. I am no admin.

I can't reproduce this.

I'm still running on 7.19 LTS and this is possible, so the issues you mentioned are fixed.

The message showing should help, is any of the mentioned topics from the error the case in your table?
