Inquiry regarding Confluence REST API: Notification for Adding Labels to Pages

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the behavior of Confluence's REST API when adding labels to a page. Specifically, I would like to know if adding a label to a Confluence page using the REST API triggers a notification to the page watchers.

Hi there @Samia Hammou !

While I am not 100% sure, I would say that it would not notify the page watchers. Page watchers are notified when an individual clicks on the "Publish" button. I have a feeling that since you can add a label without editing the page, you can do so without notifying your watchers.
