Just experienced that when I attempt to add macro "Insert Excerpt" on a page, nothing happens. In fact, when I attempt to "edit" an existing "Insert Excerpt" macro, nothing happens. This is very strange. Has anyone experienced this problem?

It seems like an active Incident is affecting the Insert Excerpt macro and throwing a 404 Not Found error.
If possible, please submit a Support ticket so we can track the affected Customers.
Yes, have requested our admin to submit a support ticket. But as the problem is real, I hope Atlassian won't wait for a formal support ticket, given the gravity of this bug. Something as fundamental as "Insert Excerpt" not working is stalling us - and must be hurting a lot of users too. Thank you.

Yes, we were able to replicate this in one of our test Sites and notified our Team internally before replying here. Should have made that clear on my first response.
Notice that Community posts are not actively monitored and there's no SLA or response time commitments, so the ideal approach in similar scenarios is submitting a Support ticket.
