Installed success fully but max got error : This site can’t be reached

Hello

Installed success fully ( atlassian-confluence-6.9.1-x64 )  with centos 6

and than i have change localhost to my IP  ( # nano /opt/atlassian/confluence/conf/server.xml )

so now i m accessing my_ip:8090  but max got error : This site can’t be reached some time works but when press next again same error ( This site can’t be reached )

for check let me know what you needed and any specific steps i need to follow than let me know help link

Hi there,

  • Can you show us what the error looks like?
  • Please also clarify what you mean when you say "but max got error".
  • Does it only work from your IP address and not the URL?
  • Are you behind any firewall?
  • Does the same occur with all tested browsers?

That usually means either the network is not letting you get there, or the service is down.

Check on the server first - is Confluence running, and if it is, can you reach that url from the server? 

If you can, then you know the problem is your network. 

If you can not, then you need to look at the firewall settings on the server, and then check the confluence logs to see why Confluence is not serving (confluence-home/logs/atlassian-confluence.log and confluence-install/log/catalina.out)
