Installing Office Connector plugin v1.18 in Confluence 3.5 fails as it tried to install v1.15?

We just installed Confluence 3.5 and found the Office Connector plugin was not included. We located the latest version of the plugin for Confluence 3.5, but when installing the plugin an error displays recommending to check the logs. The Plugin manager screen shows the plugin grayed out. When viewing the selection in the Plugin manager screen the version that was added is 1.15 even though version 1.18 was downloaded and installed. How can I enable this plugin on Confluence 3.5?

Hi Robert,

I believe the office connector 1.15 is the plugin which is bundled with your Confluence 3.5.x. As you know, there is an error when you try to install the latest supported office connector for your Confluence. This lead me to believe that the office connector 1.18 was no installed successfully in your Confluence.

The reason why the office connector 1.15 is disabled and office connector 1.18 installation fail will require a bit more investigation.

Do you mind to look at your logs? it will probably give you some idea why the installation fail.
