We are using Confluence workflow and a space template to allow users to create a request page from a confluence template.  Because we have some variable fields (that allow the users to select from drop-down values) in the template, when the user clicks the button (macro) to create a new page from the template, the first step the users must complete is to select values they need in the drop-down fields and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click "Next" before they can fill in the non-variable fields.  I COULD put fields in every other cell in the table the users need to fill in so that the users can complete them, but would rather provide some bold instructions to tell the users they need to scroll to the bottom and push next.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi @Knackstedt, Ann ,

From what I'm reading, you would like to add contextual info somewhere in the template wizard (template that is using variables)?

Apart from onboarding users via documentation or video, I don't think there's a way to add information that will be visible only before you hit 'Next'. Meaning, you could add info panel or something like that in the page/template itself, but then users would need to delete that part once they land on 'draft' part of the page. 👀
I've tried checking open features related to this, but no luck. What you could do is to reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss your requirement with them > someone from their end could probably create a new suggestion on which you could vote and set yourself as a watcher to receive notifications about updates.

Cheers,
Tobi
