Hello Folks,
Background: I need one help. I am using one of my 'student' table in confluence which has some basic data like Name, Class, Section, Marks in %age, Stream etc. I have used the table filter macro to view results in real time using appropriate filters.
Question: After I apply my filter, I want to freeze it so that it is visible to all users and even after page refresh the filters are intact. For example, I want to see only those students who have scored between 60% to 75% and with stream 'Science'. Then I want to freeze this filter so that this same result is visible to all confluence users, even when the page is refreshed.
I have used table filter macro and inside this, I have these options (as shown in the screenshot). Please help.
Hi @HQRAZAHS ,
I see exactly what you’re aiming for applying a filter once and having that “view state” persist for everyone, so that when colleagues open the page they immediately see the same filtered results without having to reapply filters.
Our team at Simple Tables for Confluence is currently working on a POC that would do just that. The idea is that you could:
Once the data is in Simple Tables, you’d also have access to calculated columns, grouping, and footer totals — meaning you could not only filter the students but also calculate aggregates (e.g., average marks for that filtered group) or instantly compare across streams.
We’re hoping to have an early test version ready soon. Would you be interested in trying it out and giving feedback? Your use case is exactly what we have in mind for this feature.

Hi @HQRAZAHS ,
From the screenshot, I believe you're using the Marketplace app (probably this one) to use and configure the macro visible in the image.
Usually, the easiest way to get help related to third-party apps is by contacting the vendor directly. Each Marketplace app listing has a Support tab (e.g., this) where you find contact information to reach the vendor's support team directly.
In most cases, support teams are ready to help with any troubleshooting or use case questions 👀
Maybe someone here on the forum also used this app, so they will be able to assist, but as mentioned earlier, the easiest way is to check out directly with the app support team.
Cheers,
Tobi

@Tomislav Tobijas I am using a company-managed software project, if that helps. Anyways, I have just sent an email to the 'support@stiltsoft.com' team seeking their support.

Thank you so very much @Tomislav Tobijas . The support@stiltsoft.com team were indeed very helpful. I am good now.

Glad to hear you've worked it out @HQRAZAHS ! 🙌
If you think this resolution might help others as well (if anyone stumbles upon the same/similar thing), feel free to share the conclusion here.
