Right now the task reports macro works well in displaying tasks with various filters in meeting notes. But this works only when viewing the published page. But in edit mode the macro does not display any tasks.

Background:

We have recurring meetings and use the tasks report macro to include all non checked tasks from previous meetings in each new meeting note. We can see these tasks only on the published page and not during the meeting while in edit mode.  So when we want to see the open tasks during the meeting we have to switch to another browser tab with the published page to see the tasks report's output.

This functionality is essential for us in our meetings. Is there any solution for this? Maybe with an add-an or a custom macro? Or are we maybe missing something and there is a different approach to holding meetings that we haven't seen?

We are thinking of moving to a higher user number with our organization both with Confluence and Jira, but before upgrading our license, this needs to be solved.

Thank you for your help!

Hello Antonius,

Within Confluence this is not possible. We had a feature request for it in the past, but it is closed as we do not have plans to implement it in the near future.

It may be something that's possible with a Marketplace add-on or a User Macro. I'm including your question in the Marketplace collection here in case other users might be aware of an add-on that could help you with that.

Regards,

Shannon
