I would like to know if Confluence is a plugin inside the Jira or not, my question is because I am trying to install Confluence as a plugin in my jira and only return errors.
I already installed JIRA Service Desk on my Jira Software and was easy to install like a module, for Confluence is the same or not?
I used the link: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/downloads/binary/atlassian-confluence-7.0.2-x64.bin to refer the link of installation in Jira Application menu.
When I made it the jira return to me check if the file or link is valid.
Can anyone help me with that?
Short answer no, it's not a plugin inside the jira. You have to install it separate.

Thanks for the fast reply Tarek, about Jira Service Desk I can say that is a module from Jira Software, right?

Both Jira Software and Jira Service Desk include Jira Core, as it's the platform on top of which they're built.
Once you install any of these applications (Jira Core, Jira Software, or Jira Service Desk), you have the Jira platform in place, so you can add the remaining applications directly from the UI, without going through the whole installation again.
