I'm writing an operations manual with load of SOPs and Work Instructions and I want to assign unique ID numbers to all of the documents I'm making. Does anyone know if it's possible to make this a default setting for all new documents / pages? And, Is it possible to customize the numbering / ID? For example, instead of using a random 6 or 8 digit number, I'd like to use pre-fixes that correlate to the section (i.e. chapter) where the page is published. For example, a page that is a SOP under a section General could have an ID as such: GEN_SOP_001.

Welcome to the Community!!

Please go through the Post here to understand how the Page ID is generated

There is an open feature request to customize page IDs

Hope this is clear and helps you :-)
