Is it possible to build a GUI that creates confluence pages?

I wanted to create a Desktop GUI that contains all the fields needed to create a page, would I be able to use the PAT to create a post request to a new page or existing page with a gui. Thanks in advance for any assistance, even if its not possible.

I am not sure if I correctly understand your question, but of course you can build any kind of frontend (incl. a desktop GUI client) and connect to the Confluence Cloud REST API!

You will primarily need these two endpoints:

1. Create page: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-page/#api-pages-post
2. Update page: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-page/#api-pages-id-put

I am curious about your need for a desktop app instead of just using the browser interface. What is the need here?
