We have a page where users can enter some basic (form) data, which is used to create a new page (where users are automatically directed) also containing confiForms. On this page the users may enter enter more related data.
I understand that usually the initiator (the one entering basic data and thus creating the page) is also the creator/owner of the new page. Is it possible to set a fixed user (admin) as create/owner of the page?
The intention is to allow the user to enter more data on the new page through confiForms but not to give him edit control on the new page.
Also, we want to restrict editors/viewers on the new page, but not to give restriction ability to the iinitiators.
Hi
You can use this type of post action to restrict page edits after it is has been created - https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Configuring+ConfiForms+IFTTT+actions+and+rules#ConfiguringConfiFormsIFTTTactionsandrules-RestrictPageEdit
There is also a flag to set that will not make the current user as an editor

Thanks for your quick response.
I tried that already but it did not work.
Because of your answer I tried again, this time setting someone (me) as editor... and it worked allright.
Just to understand it: was this the reason, why it did not work in the first place (that I did not provide editors explicitely)? Meaning, there has to be someone able to edit the page?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I believe this is quite logical that you cannot create a page that no one is allowed to edit. There is a mechanism against that in Confluence I believe (and the current user is added by default in that case)
