Is it possible to display attachment version numbers in attachment headers/footers?

Hello folks.

Does anyone know if it is possible to display the Confluence attachment version in a field within the attachment?

(For example, inserting a field into the footer of a Word document that would subsequently pickup the attachment's version number when it is attached to a page in Confluence).

Hi @Andy Folland welcome to the Atlassian community.

Please be informed, Confluence only attaches/ uploads the files but doesn't display versioning. I heard their are few market place apps to achieve this feature.
