My company is re-implementing one of our standard software packages. This update will require multiple updates to articles in the Confluence knowledge base. These updates will only be valid after the launch date. Instead of trying to update all the articles the weekend before the Monday launch date, it would be great if we could update the articles the week before and set them to publish at a staggered rate beginning 12:01 am the date of the launch.

Is there an uncomplicated way of making this happen using version 7.13?

Write the new content in a space that is not visible for your audience:

  1. It could even be a personal space (if the updates to be written by a single person)
  2. It could be a shared space, but with read/write permissions limited to the editors (if the updates to be written by multiple persons)

When time comes, just move the new content where it should be and archive the old contents.

Hi @Gwendolyn Cummings

If I correctly understand I guess the easiest OOTB way.. if you create all articles under a (View) restriction on a parent page then all child pages would also not be visible until the restriction is removed, so you should be simply able to remove the restriction at 1201 and everything become visible to everyone.
