Is it possible to get search results in gallery form in a confluence page?

I'd like to search all attachments of a page (which will be all jpgs) and get results in an interface simmilar to google image search. Does this feature exist?

Hello Geoff,

I don't believe we have such feature. Our search feature is based on Lucene, so it would require some tweaking on that. I would be honest with you that I've tried to think a way around this for you, but its quite difficult based on how we can search. We have three ways of performing searches, and the real problem is the output of them.

• Lucene
• OpenSearch, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.plugins.search.opensearch-plugin
• RSS, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/confluence.macros.html

And with the output of these searches you might get the url for the image and then perform something like Google Images.

Sorry that I could not give you any kind of code, or suggestion on that. But at least this will give you some light on how to proceed.
