Hi there,
we have the "problem" that our users usually hit the Save-Button during their editing in Office-Word or Excel really often. Therefore lots of versions are generated. Is there a possibility to configure the amount of saved versions or lets say is there a chance that after 5 save-Actions within 2 minutes confluence only keeps the last one as fully version?
Thx a lot.
Regards Bettina
Hi Bettina,
There is no built-in way to do this, but there are plenty of attachment add-ons that might help.
Arsenale Lockpoint stands out as an enterprise-level attachment management tool, but there are other add-ons as well.
Two thumbs up for Arsenale Lockpoint - we have been happy customers for a number of years, however I'm not aware of it having a feature to address this use case(?).
What it does do very well, is add check-in, check-out capabilities for attachments. See more at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.arsenale.plugins.lockpoint/server/overview
