The Viewtracker is great for our need; simple and efficient.
There is one thing I would like however - the possibility to see that User X visited the page last week, two days ago and earlier today. All in the same list. According to the documentation (https://wiki.bitvoodoo.ch/display/DOC/Viewtracker+Plugin;jsessionid=74F0860A9C1F25672B1BAB3B45CA24A2), I believe this is not possible. Or can I achieve this with a combination of other plugins, e.g. the Reporting Plugin?
Hi Ivar
After answering your question in our support platform, I shorty like to give the same answer here - to be complete :-)
According to this ticket VIEWTRACKER-35 your use case isn't possible.
Because the Viewtracker macro stores only the "last view date" and the "total number of views" per user per page, it's not possible to display any information when a page accessed by the user detailed.
Here a short vie into the data structure:
Page | User | Number of views | Last view date |
---|---|---|---|
Page1 | johndoe | 5 | 2014-01-01 |
Page1 | mikesmith | 1 | 2014-01-10 |
Page2 | johndoe | 2 | 2014-05-01 |
Page2 | mikesmith | 4 | 2014-01-12 |
Hi Ivar,
I believe you found the answer http://www.appfusions.com/display/CONFENGAGE/Home.
This plugin may suit your needs.
I couldn't find this functionality in the Viewtracker plugin, it might be a good idea to check directly with the plugin vendor if this is going to be implemented.
Cheers,
Rodrigo

It will not be implemented, which is really OK by me. We do not need this function that much, so putting in 2000 USD is not something we're gonna do at this time :)

Ivar:
Yes, Mixpanel Engagement Analytics for Atlassian Confluence has also grown beyond this video.
AppFusions needs to update the video, but I think it closest meets what you are looking for and more statistics are added often via customer feedback as time progresses. info@appfusions.com for evals.

My question might be a duplicate of this one, https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/59023; but I'm not 100 % either :)
