Is it safe to delete /opt/atlassian/atlassian-confluence-7.4.0/temp/*

Not sure if it is save to clean and delete everything in /opt/atlassian/atlassian-confluence-7.4.0/temp/ before restart Confluence?

Hi @JAMES LIN It is safe to clean delete files under <confluence_install>/temp when confluence service is down. Confluence components write temporary files or lockfiles into this directory. 

There's already a suggestion with Atlassian to automatically clear the content of the directory. You can vote for that feature and watch it for updates.
