Is less paragraph space possible?

When taking personal notes I've found that the spaces taken between dot points is too much for what I'm trying to do. The space seems to be targeted for publishing and not note taking.
Is there some way to reduce the amount of space taken so I can tune it for note taking instead of publishing. Is there anything on the roadmap?
