Is there a Project Plan template available today at least in Confluence 5.6.6?

If so, where do I obtain it and if not, will there be one developed for release?

Same as this one: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/15281092 - basic answer is still "no", and although there was something when that blog post was made, it's not really changed.  Atlassian (and others) are using something a bit more dynamic nowadays - the "timeline" view in Confluence Team Calendars and more recently, Portfolio in JIRA.

Thanks.  It is refreshing to get a straight forward response.

Since we do not have Confluence Team Calendars I will not be able to see how “timeline” view will provide what a Project Plan would have.

Is there a place I can view a video on this?
