Is there a Search that searches a Space AS WELL AS any included excerpts from another Space?

We have 2 Spaces, I'll call them Space1 and Space2. Space1 has Pages which include excerpts of Pages in Space2. We have a Livesearch in Space1 and we restricted it to Space1. We've found that it doesn't search the included excerpts from Space2 (the included excerpt Pages do not show up in the search results). Is there a way to implement a search that searches Space1 as well as any included excerpts from Space2?

Hey Allison,

Since the excerpts are still technically part of Space 2, I don't think this is possible. Are you using an addon (like SmartTemplates?)

No, we're not using an addon.  We're just using the Livesearch macro.

Hey Allison,

I don't believe so. Excerpts are just a display view of content within another area. Since access to that content is limited, I don't think it will pull either way.
