Is there a macro to add a tooltip to a global template?

I am creating a global template, I want to be able to add tooltips to some of the fields so the user knows what type of information to enter but I don't want them to have to delete the instructions manually before they type their details.  Is there a macro that will do that?

@Colleen Gotling I think what you are looking for is the Placeholder Text Macro, which is only available in the create template module. That inserts placeholder/instructional text on the page that users can click on and type over when editing a page created from the template.
