Is there a way to add an image as a watermark over an entire space?

Eric Nielson June 21, 2016

I'm trying to add an image as a background over an entire space, is it possible to make it a watermark? Maybe over one page and I can copy and paste to all pages?

Eric,  You might check out this Q&A from a few years ago. No telling if it will work with current versions of Confluence, but it may. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/55111

Let us know if it does work for you by coming back to accept this answer.  If it's not quite there, please provide additional comments to clarify what you need. Good luck!

UPDATE TO ADDRESS YOUR COMMENT, "(That Q&A) gave a macro to install, but unfortunately I'm not a Confluence Administrator so I can't install it myself. Is there anything else I can do? I'm only trying to get a logo as a watermark."

Unfortunately I don't think so. A request was filed in Atlassian's open feature request system (in their public JIRA instance) on this topic.  The request 'Background image for pages' was closed earlier this year by Confluence Product Management with the explanation there are no plans for this in the near future. It doesn't mean it will never happen, but there wasn't a lot of action of folks voting for this one and sometimes user input can sway product roadmaps. Click over to check it out.

So what can you do?  Can you request help from your Confluence Admin to try the other option?

Tom,

It sounds like the best option would be contacting my Admin to try the macro. Thanks!
