Is there a way to adjust an anonymous view for public spaces in Confluence?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a way to adjust what elements are displayed in spaces published for anonymous view? Specifically, I mean elements like:

page menu.pngspace tools.png

I should think that information like "Page History" or "People who can view" are absolutely irrelevant for anonymous viewers, it just should show exporting options. The same applies to Space tools, which I think are totally irrelevant for anonymous access.

Does anyone have any experience with such adjustments of publishing for anonymous view?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Kind regards,

@Alicja Mostowik

This is not possible with the confluence standard functions.
A lot can be deactivated with the hide elements app, which has recently been no longer free:

Thank you @repi! I will definitely give it a go. Unfortunately, it's "People who can view option", which worries me the most, and this app doesn't seem to be able to hide it.

Anyway, thanks again!

If anyone would be interested in this matter, I have been advised the following solutions for customizing anonymous view:

Hi @Alicja Mostowik

You could also try out my team's app Scroll Viewport. With it, you can totally customize the look of anonymous spaces using a customizable theme or by writing a unique one using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We use it on our help site and so does Atlassian.

Let me know if you ever want to see it in action.
