The Atlassian CopySpace plugin is not compatible with Confluence version 6. Is there another alternative please?
Btw. it is about time that Confluence gives this feature out of the box. It is pretty important functionality.
It still works with Confluence 6. I use it all the time. You just have to manually download the JAR file an upload it. The reason it says it is not compatible is that they just have not tested it yet. But if the underlying APIs that they use haven ot changed, then it will still work. Typically I found that even though an add-on does not say it is supported it still works. Atlassian requires add-on developers to go in and says explicitly that ther add-on still works.
Hi Nirdesha,
Copying a complete space is not officially supported by Atlassian but they do have a knowledge base articles about that with several options (from plugins to manually exporting/importing a space): https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-copy-or-rename-a-space-in-confluence-169578.html
Hope this helps,
Maarten

Our Copy Page Hierarchy (Copy Space) plugin could be used to copy whole space or desired set of pages (along with attachments) to a new space. I think it matches your requirement.

Our Add-on Space Tree Creator can copy spaces. But creating spaces from a template is the main purpose. The creation process is started by clicking a button and filling out a form.
So, give it a try: Marketplace Link.

Another solution for customers using the Scriptrunner AddOn is using build-in copy space script. Anyway, copying a spec should be a supported official function of Confluence.

Regarding the suggestion to include Copying spaces "out of the box" we do have a feature request open: Easily create a copy of an entire space The ticket is public and we welcome your feedback.
